It is also useful in boring pains in temples with confusion and heaviness of head worse by bending head backward and relieved in open air. Toothache from tobacco. Teeth feel too long worse at night and better by holding cold water in mouth and drawing cold air in. Pain on the right side of the face radiating to eye, ear and temple.
Clematis Erecta is also helpful in glandular affections with painful swelling and induration of glands. It also helps in gonorrhoeal orchitis when the testicle is painful, indurated and hard as a stone with pain along the spermatic cord, especially on the right side.
Clematis Erecta is also useful in urinary troubles with frequent, scanty dribbling urination with burning and sense of constriction in urethra. The flow of urine is interrupted and the patient has to wait a long time before he can urinate. Pain is worse at night.
Clematis Erecta is well indicated in skin affecitons like vesicular erruptions with yellow fluid. Erruptions come out on the occiput (back of head), face and hands which burn and itch intensely. Erruptions are red and moist during the increasing moon, pale and dry during the decreasing moon. The skin symptoms are worse while washing in cold water, warmth of bed and at night. Better in open air, from scratching and from sweating.
