Uses
Aspergillus oryzae, also known as koji, is a fungus used for rice, soybeans, potatoes, grain, and certain Asian foods including sake and soy sauce. It is also an ingredient in some homeopathic allergy pills.
Benefits
Aspergillus oryzae is said to produce amylase, an enzyme that aids in digestion and stomach health.
Cautions
Allergy pills: Stop and consult a doctor if allergy symptoms don’t improve in 5 days and/or if new symptoms appear, if you suffer from asthma and severe mold or other allergies, if you have heart disease or high blood pressure.
