Calluna vulgaris, commonly known as heather, is an herb used as a remedy for urinary tract problems, diarrhea, stomach pain, rheumatic pains, gout, sleep aid, and more.

Benefits

Calluna vulgaris is said to treat the above mentioned conditions. It’s beneficial properties can be attributed to its contents:

  • arbutin
  • saponins
  • karotin
  • flavonoids
    • quercitrin
    • myricitrin
  • ericodin
